Thank you for very very good stay for 2 nights and so close to the misty mountains and a garden down the hill. The host, Joseph, is what makes this place boutique and quiet. Its rooms are nicely decorated and tidy with fantastic views, a much appreciated extra touch plus balconies overlooking the misty mountains. There's views of the valley. The apartment is prime and best possible, at the foothills of Munnar...

The rooms were cozy and clean, and had a sick view of the hills from the balconies. Johnson, the host, was the man! He gave us dope recommendations and even hooked us up with tickets to the Kalari Kshetra. The food was straight fire - the best Kerali food we had on our whole trip. We wish we had more time to do a cooking session with Johnson. Definitely coming back for more fun times!
The only thing we could've asked for was some more nightlife or party scene near the hotel. We wanted to keep the good vibes going and turn up, but there wasn't much happening in the area.

The food at the hotel was delicious, especially the breakfast. We looked forward to it every morning with its fresh juices, local breakfast options, and a platter of fruits from their own garden. The room was clean and well-decorated, with a lovely balcony offering great views. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee or snacks.- The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions such as tea plantations and waterfalls.
The noise from the nearby main road at night was quite bothersome. We had trouble sleeping without earplugs due to the constant sound of passing cars.

During our stay at Mistletoe Homestay & Cafe, I was blown away by the breathtaking view from our balcony. The lush green tea gardens and the playful clouds made it feel like a true paradise. The room itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy and comfortable retreat. Another highlight was the delicious food served at the restaurant. The meals were absolutely delightful, especially the freshly baked pizzas and the grilled delicacies. To top it all off, the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Joe and his family made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone seeking a tranquil and unforgettable experience.

The rooms at Mistletoe Homestay & Cafe in Munnar are fantastic! They have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, perfect for chilling after a long day. And the private balcony offers breathtaking views that will surely make your stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the well-furnished rooms are so cozy and comfortable – it feels like a home away from home!
One thing I liked less about the room was the tile/marble floor. It's just my personal preference, though.

A true nature lover's paradise with breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, and serene surroundings. The personalized touch and warm welcome made my stay even more memorable. The food was outstanding, prepared from local sources, and the ethos of sustainable tourism was evident throughout. The clean and comfortable rooms, along with the fantastic shower room, added to the overall experience. Despite the distance from Munnar, I found it to be an advantage as it provided peace and quiet. The afternoon walk down to the beautiful river was a highlight. I highly recommend this peaceful oasis for an unforgettable stay.

The highlight for our children was the nearby tea plantations - they were amazed by the endless rows of bright green tea leaves and enjoyed learning about the tea-making process. The tour guide provided at the homestay was knowledgeable and made the experience fun and interactive. It was a great educational opportunity for the whole family!
For dads, it would be great to have some outdoor activities specifically catered towards families with children, such as a playground or a small pool.
